I goes now is the time for the diehards to buy their badges for March next year, because the SXSW Team are now open for business and you can register for the 2013 Conferences.

Prices, as always, are on a sliding scale, with benefits to buying your badge as early as possible. Walk-up rates are available right up until the end of the Conference, but be honest, if you know you are definitely coming, then now is the time to buy a (non-refundable) badge.

Also worth noting the price increases here. For the early birds registering in this first tranche, Platinum has went up $155, Gold and Interactive have jumped $100, Film climbs $55, and Music has the smallest bump up with an extra $30 being asked for.

Look, if you know you’re going to be at South by in March next year, and you havent; bought your badge yet, then do remember the prices go up at the end of Friday. This Friday.

See that price jump? Up to $100 difference between Friday and Saturday. Why, that’s enough for half a night at the Hilton!
