Ready for the deadlines? Or at least the deadlines for November (because if there’s anything that South By does well, it’s having a lot of deadlines… every month). Onwards, with courage!

Submissions for the Interactive Awards end on Friday 18th Nov; Films need to be in on the Tuesday before that (i.e. the 15th); and if you were hoping to get your band in by now, whoops, because that was November 4th… last week.

And the other big deadline? The tickets. You can still walk up on the day to get your SXSW Badges, but if you want to get the next level of discount you’ll need to book ‘em by this Friday.

Probably the coolest awards ceremony since your High School Graduation, you’ve got till the end of the year to nominate your site or project for the awards (although try to get in before September 30th if you don’t want to get hit with the higher submission fee). Categories are Activism, Amusement, Art, Buisness, Community, Educational Resource, Experimental, Film and TV, Motion Graphics, Music, Personal, Social Media, Student and Technical Achivement.

And if you launched before January 1st 2011, all you can enter is the Classic category.
