Snow in DFW Causes Delays for SXSW Travelers

Snow in the Dallas-Fort Worth area caused a mass cancellation of over 200 flights today, and, as it often happens, the cancellations caused a ripple effect throughout the entire air traffic system. DFW is a popular connection spot for SXSW travelers going to Austin, as it’s a hub for both Southwest Airlines and Continental Airlines.

So if you’re traveling by air tomorrow morning, be sure to check out the official FAA delays page, as well as Orbitz Mobile’s real time traveler updates and flight status. Hope everyone gets to Austin safe and sound.
