Interactive Playpen is Back!
The Interactive Playpen is back! Past SXSW attendees will remember the giant pile of legos and toys just inside the Austin Convention Center’s doors, by the escalators.
It’s a nice place for kids of all ages to relax, build something awesome, and meet new friends during SXSW. Last year I even spied keynote speaker Will Wright building something interesting. The playpen exists courtesy of Susan Kaup (better known as Sooz) and Ryan Gantz. Well, the playpen’s creators are bringing it back again for 2008, and this time with prizes!
Win a free t-shirt. Simply upload a photograph of your beautiful Lego creation and tag it with the appropriate Flickr tag to enter the contest. The fun runs from March 7 through March 16, throughout the duration of SXSWeek and you can “party like a blockstar.” I can’t wait to see what people build this time around.
