Geekhearts of the rodeo
The Star of Texas Rodeo began yesterday and runs through March 15, filled with roping, riding, something called “mutton busting” (!), livestock exhibitions and sales and...well, all sorts of rodeo stuff, including the crowning of Miss Rodeo Austin.
If you’re arriving in town early for SXSW Interactive, there’s a move afoot to move some geeks to the fairgrounds to take in the fun, a SXSW outing to the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Yee, as they say, haw!
