For those of you just joining us…
So it's what—42 days until SXSW gets underway? Are you ready? If not, some of the stuff we've been talking about the past couple of weeks might help you prepare:- Hotel accommodations are going fast—the downtowners closest to the conference and festival venues are all but sold out. This might be a good time to check out the Ride/Room Share board hereabouts.
- Some notes about those elusive Music fest wristbands.
- What the heck is "web wrestling"? SXSW announced a list of Interactive panels, and enquiring minds want to know.
- Torrents! Torrents! Torrents! Yep, a whole whale of MP3s and other geeky goodness on the way from the SXSW folk. It's a real process to get organized.
- Some Film panels have been announced and, meanwhile, Chris wants to know if there are any non-fest screenings or parties.
And, last but certainly not least, Kathryn has posted her excellent how-to intro for getting the most SXSW Music. It's a must-read for Music attendees or those who seek to understand the Music attendee in their lives.
