Belly up to the BarCamp
If you don’t expect to get your fill of geekery at SXSW Interactive, don’t despair! BarCamp Austin returns for a second year, March 9–10. What’s a BarCamp? In their own words:
A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.
It’s a bit of an “unconference”, and may just be the tonic if you’re not the panel-goin’ type. The great BarCamp wiki has tons more details, including what to expect if it’s your first time at the rodeo.
