Any questions?
Crowdsourced Q&A site Fluther has created a special ad-free subsite to aggregate questions related to SXSW. Right now, accounts created on the separate SXSW site don’t tie in with existing Fluther accounts, but Fluther fella Ben Finkel says that’ll change after the festivals.
This is our first specialized version of Fluther. It operates on a different database and server, so new user accounts don’t go back and forth. Our plan is to migrate all the new sxsw users over to the main Fluther after SXSW is over.
It’s a little bit of an experiment for us, but SXSW seemed like a great time to try something new and also provide users with an opportunity to really help each other out.
Also note that if you visit sxsw.fluther.com on an iPhone, the site automatically redirects to an iPhone-specific version of the main site, from which they doesn’t seem to be any way to reach the SXSW site. No doubt they’ll shake the bugs out as the week wear on.
Of course, SXSW questions are the order of the day here at the Baby!, too, in The Baby! Boards. Ask away!
