I have a room to share for SXSW music March 17-22. It is at the Super 8 downtown Austin, about 10 mins walk from 6th street. It’s not fancy but it’s cheap and clean. There are 2 double beds. I am looking for someone responsible and trustworthy to share the room… or 2 people… it’s $140 a night split between however many want to share. I am 28 years old and female, primarily just use the room to sleep, shower, and change. Please get back to me ASAP if you are interested!
I have an extra double bed at the Wyndham Garden Hotel for SXSW Film/Interactive. Checkin on the 12th, checkout on the 17th, though it’s OK if you’re arriving on the 13th (I’ll cover the previous day). I expect I could also get a cot for another person.
The hotel says it’s a five-minute drive from the convention center.
Full rate is $108/night + tax, so per person that would work out to about $54/night + tax, at most.

I’m from NYC and decided to rent an awesome house for SXSW Interactive from 3/13 - 3/17. It can be extended to include the evening of 3/17 if you need it.

So, after SXSW, i need to somehow get back to San Francisco. I have a nice duplex just outside of Austin with a currently unused bedroom and a comfy couch. I had a band from New York stay with me last year. I enjoyed the company so screw it, I’m offering up my place again. It’s not real close to downtown, but it’s only about a 15 minute drive, it’s out in the country and quiet. I am volunteering for SXSW Music, and I’m on vacation from work then so I’ll be heading down there every day. I like to BBQ and drink beer and have people over. I managed to get a hotel room at the Courtyard Marriott @ Austin Central for four people from the dates of March 17th 2009 to March 24th 2009. This is for the music portion of SXSW.
I am currently looking for three roommates to share this room with. Its looking like this room will be between $200 - $250 per person for the week. I am not exactly sure how this is going to work with the money but feel free to email me and we can work some thing out.
