Stay in a 1960 Travel trailer- Austin-style!

Have the ultimate Austin experience by staying in our Classic 1960 Travel Trailer (like an Airstream) right in the heart of SXSW- South Austin. This 26’ trailer is perfects for a couple or friends with two beds (third bed can be made from table), full bathroom and kitchen. We call the place The Compound and it’s ideally located just south of downtown and right in between Cool and Really Cool. Walk to the Bouldin Coffee shop and get right with God..or Buddha, or just one of the local Bubbas. Take an afternoon stroll down South Congress Avenue and check out the groovy shops..grab a beer at the Hotel San Jose or a margarita at Guero’s Taco Bar.. all before you pop across the street to the Continental Club. Use one of the bikes we’ll have ready for you to ride around the Hike and Bike Trail on your way Downtown..or to Zilker Park...for that matter, almost any of the SXSW venues. The Compound is a quiet acre tucked away secretly in the middle of it all. Yet, you’re just a block away from the (in)Famous Horseshoe Lounge ["sooner or later, everyone ends up at the Horseshoe"]..five blocks from Polvo’s, the best Mexican food in Austin.. heck just grab a six pack, build a fire in the pit and kick back in the Pecan tree covered back yard as you listen to West Bouldin creek meander around the property. Or bet senselessly on the official South Austin Olympic event- horseshoes.

Hey there! We have a sweet room booked at the Driskill with 2 queen beds, looking to share with 1-2 people. We’re two women working in entertainment law, fun but respectful, and will share one of the beds.  If you’re two people, the price will be lower.  We arrive the 17th, check out the 20th, and need to get this figured out TODAY (Monday) or I’m going to lose the room completely.

I’ve got a free queen bed in a non-smoking room at the top floor of the Hilton, with access to the executive lounge with breakfast in morning, drinks and snacks in evening. This is the best hotel for the conference and in the heart of downtown.

Room to share at Down Hilton Garden Inn 12-16th (2 Queen beds)

Hi, I’m posting on the boards as I have a room to share at SXSW. I’m staying at the Downtown Hilton Garden Inn on the following dates:

12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and checking out on the 16th.

It’s only a couple blocks from the convention center. Very nice room with 2 queen beds, my friend had to cancel last minute so I’ve freed 1 bed up.

I’m asking $100 a night. As for a little bit more about me, I’m a easy going 32 year old interaction / web designer (male) from San Francisco. Just looking for someone to help cover the costs of the room.

Classic 1960 Avion Travel Trailer in the heart of SXSW

Rented two places, but just need one!  Here are the details on the place I don’t need.
Have the coolest SXSW on record!  Stay in antique ‘60 Avion TT and be the envy of all your friends.
The trailer is located on a secluded acre in the heart of all things SXSW.. walk to the Continental Club, some of the best Tex-Mex in the world and all the funky-ness that South Austin has to offer.  Ride one of our bicycles downtown or take a quick/cheap cab ride to all the venues.  Bus lines and pedi-cabs are all over the place as well.  Feel like chilling at home?  Relax under one of the hundred year old Pecan trees and listen to Bouldin Creek pass by..throw some ‘shoes or build a fire in the pit. 
The place is perfect for two with a full bathroom and kitchen.  Wireless also available.  Say you did it south-Austin style!

Have bed available 3/12-3/20 at Hilton Austin

I’m staying in a double queen non-smoking room at the Hilton for the duration of the conference (Friday 3/12 - Saturday 3/20) and as of now there’s one bed free.

I’m very clean and considerate - looking for same.
There’s enough partying in Austin that week that the room is used as a pretty quiet crash pad.

Ideally I’m looking for someone who will share the entire time but I’m willing to break things up into Interactive & Music.
Open to a couple taking the bed as long as they are considerate.

Rate *with taxes* is $327.75/night - so your share is $164/night.

Looking for a room downtown

Yeah, I know it’s a long shot.

3 (possibly 4) of us are booked in to the Wyndham Garden Inn, but would ideally like to be downtown. If anyone knows of any accommodation downtown for 3/4 people, or anyone is giving up their room and wants to transfer it, we’d really really appreciate it.

Hotel Share for SXSW 2010 Film Portion

Hi, I’m a 30f coming from L.A. for the film portion of the festival. Film panels are mostly on Fri., 3/12, so I’m planning to be in town Thurs., 3/11 - Mon, 3/15 give or take a few days.

(Will know better once the film panel times are announced.)

Would like to share the costs of a hotel with another female traveler if possible.
