Write your fears down on a piece of paper. Fold it into a pirate hat, put it on your head. There, now you're a pirate [with] no fear.

You’re a beautiful audience, here’s who Comedying at SXSW this year

Following on from the release of the music schedule yesterday (the ongoing release of the Film schedule, and Interactive’s sessions which were locked in some weeks ago), today sees the publication of the SXSW Comedy schedules.

It might be small, compared to the other SXSW events and other comedy festivals, but the 40 acts who’ll be descending too spread themselves around the city include some notable names (Doug Benson), some of my favourite events from the Edinburgh Fringe (Paul Provenza’s Set List), and of course a bundle of the US Late Night talk shows attempting to look hip (Jimmy Kimmel), justify their existence (Seth Myers), or try and find a better slot and replace the new guy on the block (Leno – who’s not scheduled to appear, but then he wasn’t schedule to replace O’Brien on Tonight either).

Highlights and the full list can be found at SXSW.
