Full bands and performers list for SXSW Music announced

Along with the panels appearing in schedule.sxsw.com, the Austin team have popped even more band names into the system for us to look through. There’s still more bands to announce, but the majority are now listed (including The Ting Tings and Doomtree) for you to discover, that should keep you going for a while. No time and date info on the showcases, but SXSW expect this to be announced mid Feb.

If you need a guide through the music, then friend of The Baby! Operation Every Band is reviewing every band that is going to play in Austin – at least that’s the plan. We’re working on our music sampler as well for your MP3 player, but until then, who have you spotted that’s in your must see category?

    Definitely looking forward to The Ting Tings, Miike Snow, Keane and Lana Del Rey. Can’t wait….March cannot come around quick enough. I think there are some sneaky bigger names to be announced too very soon. Woo Hoo!! see you there!!!

    Graham, it wouldn’t surprise me on the bigger names as well (look at the PR co-ordination of SXSW/SNL for Lana Del Ray), but it’s always a balance – spending two or three hours in the queue for the big names to get in, or take in five-si new bands in the same time. I tend to go for the latter nowadays on all bar one night!
